“I’m gonna lay down my burden, down by the riverside,
Down by the riverside, down by the riverside
I’m gonna lay down my burden, down by the riverside”

Spring River is one of my favorite places to seek refuge from the cares of life.

Blue waters bubble up from the largest spring in Arkansas at the town of Mammoth Spring and merge with the Warm Fork of the Spring River to form the Spring River.

A beautiful river, the cold waters yield excellent trout fishing and the rapids provide for great canoeing, kayaking and floating experiences.
